CATTS is seeking a Junior Trade Analyst to join our team. You will work with internal stakeholders, customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure complete, accurate and compliant information is declared to Customs authority and other government agencies to minimize delays and expedite release.

As a Junior Trade Analyst, you will be responsible for:
• Preparing import and export entries according to customer instructions and sending instructions to customs broker.
• Executing the daily processes and policies as defined, ensuring compliance at all moments.
• Monitoring emails, info-queues, and the disposition thereof in a timely manner.
• Timely escalation of any client issues.
• Organizing and prioritizing work in a dynamic and complex environment, as well as meeting deadlines and daily requirements.
• Minimum 0 – 2 years’ experience
• A background in International Trade or Master in Business Administration (MBA)/PGDM/MCA
• Customs broker license and knowledge in customs clearance process or experience would be an advantage.
• Fluency in English. Other languages would be an asset.
• Technical degree or equivalent experience would be an asset.
• Experience with MS Office Applications, including proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to read/analyse regulations and procedures.
• Ability to write, speak, and present effectively and persuasively.
• Working in a virtual global team.

• Ability to work independently, without direct supervision.
