Introduction

CATTS is seeking a Junior Trade Analyst to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will support international trade compliance and customs operations while gaining hands-on exposure to areas such as HS classification, origin, valuation, and customs documentation under the guidance of experienced professionals.

You will work alongside an international team of customs, compliance, and technology experts, developing practical experience while contributing to solutions that support global trade operations for multinational clients.

Responsibilities

As a Junior Trade Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and validating import/export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, COO, etc.).
• Assisting in HS classification, origin determination, and trade data validation.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable customs regulations and internal procedures.
• Supporting data accuracy checks before customs submission.
• Assisting in maintaining records for audits and compliance reviews.
• Using trade systems and supporting process improvements.
• Participating in training programs on customs and trade compliance.
• Supporting reporting and basic KPI tracking.

Requirements

• General knowledge of Customs and International Trade (ideally).
• No previous experience is required in import and export processes.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Effective Communication: Strong English verbal and written skills to convey
ideas clearly and collaborate with diverse audiences.
• Continuous Improvement: A proactive mindset to identify and implement enhancements in processes and practices.
• Adherence to all policies, procedures, standards and obligations regarding the Quality Management System.
• Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and foster a cooperative environment.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: Precision and accuracy in all tasks, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
