Canada has decided to extend the measures regarding anti-dumping duties on circular copper tubes from Brazil, China, Greece, Mexico and South Korea, and subsidy countervailing duties on copper tubes from China

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal, pursuant to subsection 76.03(1) of the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA), has conducted an expiry review of the orders made on September 25, 2019, in expiry review RR-2018-005, continuing, without amendment, its findings made on December 18, 2013, in inquiry NQ‑2013‑004, concerning the dumping of circular copper tube with an outer diameter of 0.2 inch to 4.25 inches (0.502 centimetre to 10.795 centimetres), excluding industrial and coated or insulated copper tube, originating in or exported from the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Hellenic Republic, the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Korea and the United Mexican States, and the subsidizing of those goods originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China. Products in scope are classified under HTS 7411.10.00.10, 7411.10.00.20, 7411.10.00.31 and 7411.10.00.39. Source

Canada has launched an investigation into dumping and countervailing duties on Thermal Paper Rolls from China

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) initiated investigations on June 12, 2025, under the Special Import Measures Act, respecting the alleged injurious dumping and subsidizing of certain thermal paper rolls originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China. The investigations follows a complaint filed by McDermid Paper Converters Limited, Media Cash Register Inc., and Custom Paper Ltd. The subject goods are usually imported under the following tariff classification number: 4811.90.00.90. Source

Canada has decided on provisional measures regarding anti-dumping duties on polyethylene terephthalate resin from China and Pakistan, and subsidy countervailing duties on polyethylene terephthalate resin from China

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), pursuant to subsection 38(1) of the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA), made preliminary determinations of dumping respecting polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China (China) and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and of subsidizing of PET resin originating in or exported from China. Products in scope are classified under HTS 3907.61.00.00, 3907.69.00.10, 3907.69.00.80, and 3907.69.00.90. Source

The EU has decided to impose provisional anti-dumping tariffs on Screws without Heads produced in China

The product under investigation is screws and bolts, whether or not with their nuts and washers, without heads, of iron or steel other than stainless steel, regardless of tensile strength, excluding coach screws and other wood screws, screw hooks and screw rings, self-tapping screws, and screws and bolts for fixing railway track construction material (‘the product under investigation’). All screws without heads, namely threaded rods, anchor bolts and U-bolts are used to mechanically join two or more elements. They are used by a variety of consumer industries and in a wide range of final applications, including automotive, renewable energy, electrical appliances, agriculture, mechanical industry in general, and building. The product concerned is the product under investigation originating in the People’s Republic of China, currently falling under CN codes 7318 15 42 and 7318 15 48. Source

The EU has launched an investigation into the extension of countervailing duties on glass fibre woven fabrics from China and Egypt.

The EU has made a final decision on anti-dumping tariffs on vanillin from China.

EU has imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of vanillin originating in the People’s Republic of China. Products in scope are classified under HTS code 2912 41 00 and 2912 42 00. Source

India has launched an investigation into dumping duties on Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU)-based Surface/Paint Protection Film from China

On June 16, 2025, the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR), under India’s Ministry of Commerce & Industry, officially initiated an anti‑dumping investigation into Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)-based paint protection films originating in or exported from China, following a complaint by Garware Hi‑Tech Films Ltd. The investigation covers a wide range of HS tariff codes including 39095000, 39191000, 39199010, 39199090, 39201019, 39201099, 39206190, 39206290, 39206919, 39206922, 39206929, 39206939, 39206999, 39209490, 39209912, 39209919, 39209939, 39209991, 39209999, 39211310, 39211390, 39211900, 39219029, 39219099, 39269069 and 39269099. India has begun an investigation into the extension of anti-dumping tariffs on Faced Glass Wool from China

India’s Ministry of Commerce & Industry has launched a sunset review investigation into the extension of anti‑dumping duties on Faced Glass Wool in rolls imported from China, covering HS codes: 70198000, 70199000, 70199010, 70199090, 70191900, 70193900, and 70195900. Source

India seeks to impose CVD on Digital Offset Printing Plates, originating in or exported from China PR and Taiwan

The matter of ‘Digital Offset Printing Plates’ (hereinafter referred to as the subject goods) falling under sub-heading/tariff items 8442 50, 3701 30 00, 3704 00 90, 3705 00 00, 7606 11 90, 7606 91 90 and 7606 92 90 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) (hereinafter referred to as the Customs Tariff Act), originating in, or exported from China PR and Taiwan (hereinafter referred to as the subject countries), and imported into India, the designated authority in its final findings, vide notification No. 06/25/2023-DGTR, dated the 28th March, 2025, read with corrigendum dated 12th June, 2025 and 26th June, 2025 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part I, Section 1, has inter-alia come to the conclusion that—

  • (i) the subject goods have been exported to India from the subject countries at subsidized prices;
  • (ii) there  is  threat  of  material  injury  to  the  domestic  industry  on  account  of  subject  imports  from subject countries;
  • (iii) the threat of material injury has been caused by the subsidized imports of subject goods from the subject countries, and has recommended imposition of countervailing duty on the imports of subject goods, originating in, or exported from the subject countries and imported into India. India seeks to impose CVD on imports of ‘Effect pearlescentpigments or mica pearlescent pigments, excluding effect pigments for automotive applications’ originating in or exported from China PR

The matter of “Effect pearlescent pigments or mica pearlescent pigments, excluding effect pigments for automotive applications” (hereinafter referred to as the subject goods) falling under tarrif items 3206 11 10,3206 11 90,3206 19 00 and 3206 49 90 of the First Schedule to the  Customs  Tariff  Act,  1975  (51  of  1975)  (hereinafter  referred  to  as  the  Customs  Tariff  Act), originating in or exported from China PR (hereinafter referred to as the subject country), and imported into India, the designated authority in its final findings, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part  I,  section  1, vide Notification  06/8/2024-DGTR,  dated  the  28th  March,  2025,  read  with Corrigendum Notification No. CVD (OI) – 01/2024 dated the June 16th,2025 has come to the conclusion that-

  • (i)the subject goods have been exported to India from the subject country at subsidised prices;
  • (ii)the domestic industry has suffered material injury due to subsidisation of the subject goods; 
  • (iii)material injury has been caused by the subsidised imports of the subject goods originating in or exported from the subject country,  and has recommended the imposition of definitive countervailing duty on imports of the subject goods originating in or exported from the subject country. South Africa Customs: Updates to Anti-Dumping Duties on Pneumatic Rubber Tires

A 41.47% provisional duty is imposed on “all other producers or exporters” of new pneumatic rubber tyres (motor-car, bus, and lorry tires) originating in China but routed through Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The United States has decided to extend the anti-dumping and countervailing duties on Polyester Textured Yarn from China and India

The Commission made these determinations pursuant to section 751(c) of the Act (19 U.S.C. 1675(c)). It completed and filed its determinations in these reviews on June 20, 2025. The views of the Commission are contained in USITC Publication 5640 (June 2025), entitled Polyester Textured Yarn from China and India. Products in scope are classified under HTS: 5402.33.30.00, 5402.33.60.00, 5402.52, 5402.52.00, 5402.52.10.00 and 5402.52.90.00. Source

The United States has begun an investigation into countervailing duties on Chinese-made L-Lysine

the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) received a countervailing duty (CVD) petition concerning imports of L-lysine (lysine) from the People's Republic of China (China), filed in proper form on behalf of the Lysine Fair Trade Coalition and its individual members (the petitioners). The CVD Petition was accompanied by an antidumping duty (AD) petition concerning imports of lysine from China. Products in scope are classified under HTS 2922.41.0010, 2922.41.0090, 2922.49.4950, 2309.90.7000 and 2309.90.9500. Source

The United States has launched an investigation into anti-dumping tariffs on Chinese-made L-Lysine

U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) received an antidumping duty (AD) petition concerning imports of L-lysine (lysine) from the People's Republic of China (China) filed in proper form on behalf of the Lysine Fair Trade Coalition and its individual members (the petitioners). Products in scope are classified under HTS 2922.41.0010, 2922.41.0090, 2922.49.4950, 2309.90.7000 and 2309.90.9500. Source

The United States has decided on provisional measures regarding countervailing duties on Temporary Steel Fencing produced in China

The merchandise subject to this investigation is temporary steel fencing. Temporary steel fencing consists of temporary steel fence panels and temporary steel fence stands. Temporary steel fence panels, when assembled with temporary steel fence stands or other types of stands outside of the scope, with each other, or with posts, create a free-standing fence. Temporary steel fence panels are covered by the scope regardless of whether they attach to a stand or the type of stand to which they connect. Products in scope are classified under HTS 7308.90.9590, 7326.90.8688 and 7323.99.9080. Source

The United States has decided to extend the anti-dumping duties on Carbon and Alloy Steel Threaded Rod from China, India, Taiwan, and Thailand, and the countervailing duties on Carbon and Alloy Steel Threaded Rod from China and India.

On the basis of the record developed in the subject five-year reviews, the United States International Trade Commission (“Commission”) determines, pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”), that revocation of the countervailing duty orders on carbon and alloy steel threaded rod from China and India and the antidumping duty orders on carbon and alloy steel threaded rod from China, India, Taiwan, and Thailand would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the United States within a reasonably foreseeable time. Products in scope are classified under HTS 7318.15.20.95, 7318.15.50.51, 7318.15.50.56, 7318.15.50.90 and 7318.19.00.00. Source

The United States has decided to extend the anti-dumping tariff measures on Malleable Iron Pipe Fittings

On the basis of the record developed in the subject five-year review, the United States International Trade Commission (“Commission”) determines, pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”), that revocation of the antidumping duty order on malleable iron pipe fittings from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the United States within a reasonably foreseeable time. Product in scope are classified under HTS codes 7307.19.30.60, 7307.19.30.85, 7307.19.90.30, 7307.19.90.60, 7307.19.90.80 and 7326.90.85.88. Source

On the basis of the record developed in the subject five-year reviews, the United States International Trade Commission (“Commission”) determines, pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”), that revocation of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on polyester textured yarn from China and India would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the United States within a reasonably foreseeable time.  Products in scope are classified under HTS 5402.33.30.00, 5402.33.60.00, 5402.52, 5402.52.00, 5402.52.10.00 and 5402.52.90.00. The United States has decided on provisional measures regarding anti-dumping tariffs on Sol Gel Alumina-Based Ceramic Abrasive Grains produced in China

The merchandise covered by this investigation is sol gel alumina-based ceramic abrasive grains which are comprised of minimum 94% aluminum oxide (Al2O3), and may contain other compounds, including, but not limited to, titanium dioxide, silicon dioxide, calcium oxide, sodium superoxide, ferric oxide, magnesium oxide, di-aluminum magnesium tetroxide, lanthanum oxide, lanthanum magnesium oxide, zirconium dioxide, or zirconium carbonate. Grain sizes of sol gel alumina-based ceramic abrasive grains range from 0.85 mm to 0.0395 mm (which corresponds to American National Standards Institute (ANSI) grit sizes from 20 to 280). The merchandise subject to this investigation is properly classified under subheadings 2818.10.2010 and 2818.10.2090 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS). Other merchandise subject to the current scope, including when incorporated into the abovementioned downstream articles, may be classified under HTSUS subheadings 2818.10.1000, 2818.20.0000, 2818.30.0000, 3824.99.1100, 3824.99.1900, 6805.10.0000, 6805.20.0000, 6805.30.1000, 6805.30.5000, 6804.22.1000, 6804.22.4000, 6804.22.6000, 8204.12.0000, 8474.90.0010, 8474.90.0020, 8474.90.0050, and 8474.90.0090.
