Shivraj Singh brings over fifteen years of experience working with multinational companies to optimize their trade compliance, audits, and supply chain processes. As the Compliance Technology Director, Shivraj plays a crucial role in guiding CATTS and its clients through the ever-changing landscape of international trade regulations.
Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your role within the company?
“My primary focus is to ensure our compliance infrastructure is both efficient and adaptable, allowing us to navigate evolving regulations smoothly,” Shivraj explains. He collaborates closely with the compliance, operations, and IT teams to implement systems that streamline trade compliance, select and manage software, and maintain real-time oversight of regulatory risks.
What Motivated You to Join CATTS?
Shivraj’s passion for global trade and compliance led him to CATTS, where he was particularly inspired by the company’s “One Global Team” approach. “What attracted me to CATTS was its commitment to providing comprehensive compliance solutions across industries and regions,” Shivraj shares. “I was eager to join a forward-thinking team that not only helps businesses manage regulatory challenges but also enhances their global operations through technology.”

With a background spanning multiple regions, Shivraj has developed deep insight into how different countries’ trade regulations impact global business operations. He has led cross-functional teams and developed strategies to ensure compliance, manage Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), and optimize duty assessments. His expertise in managing import/export processes and working with compliance technology allows him to create solutions that simplify and enhance compliance efforts.

When he’s not navigating the complexities of trade regulations, Shivraj dedicates his time to volunteering with local nonprofits. “Global trade laws and compliance requirements change frequently. One of the biggest challenges is staying updated and ensuring that our technology platforms reflect these changes,” Shivraj admits.
