EU is revising its rules on customs duties on glass fibres from China
On 26 March 2026, the European Commission adopted Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/716, which aims to correct editorial and technical errors in two earlier acts concerning safeguard measures against imports of continuous glass fibre products from the People's Republic of China. The Regulation introduces corrections to: (1) Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2328, which amended the rules for the application of countervailing duties following a partial interim review limited to the examination of injury. (2) Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2337, which modified the anti-dumping duties following a full interim review. Both amending Regulations contained a clerical error in the countervailing duty rate for all other imports originating in the PRC, which should be 10,3 % instead of 10,2 %. Therefore, the rate of the anti-dumping duty imposed on all other imports originating in the PRC should also be adjusted and should be 22,9 % instead of 23 %. However, this adjustment has no financial impact as the combined anti-dumping and countervailing duty rate remains unchanged. The names of the companies and their additional TARIC codes have also been clarified. Source

Both Regulations omit the Indian producer Aberdare Technologies Private Limited, even though it cooperated in the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations. The Commission supplemented Annexes I to both acts by adding the company to the list of producers subject to the relevant rates. The adjusted rates apply retroactively from 12 June 2025, i.e. from the date of entry into force of Regulation 2025/1135. Customs authorities are obliged to refund overpaid amounts or collect missing duties in accordance with customs law. Source

The Commission confirmed that the change of name is due to a restructuring and not to an actual change in the business or the structure of production. Therefore, the existing individual anti-dumping duty rate (23%) for the company under the new name was maintained. The regulation enters into force on 25 March 2026 and is directly applicable in all Member States. Source
EU is updating tariffs on biodiesel from the US
On 23 March 2026, the European Commission adopted Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/702, which amends two previous acts concerning duties on biodiesel originating in the United States: (1) 2021/1266 – definitive anti-dumping duty; (2) 2021/1267 – definitive countervailing duty. India has decided to extend its anti-dumping duties on normal butanol/n-butyl alcohol from Malaysia, South Africa, and the United States. (HS: 2905.13.00)
The Designated Authority (hereinafter referred to as "Authority") received an application from the Andhra Petrochemicals Limited (hereinafter referred to as the 'applicant' or the "domestic industry") seeking initiation of a sunset review for extension and enhancement of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of 'Normal Butanol' (hereinafter to be referred to as the "subject goods" or the "product under consideration"), originating in or exported from European Union, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa and United States of America. However, as examined during the initiation of the case, it was prima facie noted that the initiation of anti-dumping investigation into imports of NBA from European Union and Singapore was not justified for the reasons cited in the initiation notification. Therefore, it was decided to initiate the anti-dumping investigation only against Malaysia, South Africa and United States of America (hereinafter referred to as "subject countries"). Source
