Brazil has decided to extend the anti-dumping tariff measures on silicon flat steel (silicon flat steel) imported from Germany, China, South Korea, and Taiwan (HS: 7225.19.00, 7226.19.00).

Brazil extends definitive antidumping duty, for a period of up to 5 (five) years, applied to Brazilian imports of seamless carbon steel conduction pipes (line pipe), used for oil and gas pipelines, with an external diameter greater than 5 (five) nominal inches (141.3 mm), but not greater than 14 (fourteen) nominal inches (355.6 mm), originating in China. Canada has decided to extend its anti-dumping tariff measures on structural tubing imported from South Korea and Turkey (HS: 7306.30.10.23, 7306.30.10.33, 7306.30.90.23, 7306.30.90.29, 7306.30.90.33, 7306.50.00.30, 7306.60.90.12, 7306.60.90.22, 7306.60.90.29).

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal, pursuant to subsection 76.03(1) of the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA), has conducted an expiry review of its order made on October 16, 2019, in expiry review RR‑2018‑006, continuing, without amendment, its order made on December 20, 2013, in expiry review RR‑2013‑001, continuing, in part, its order made on December 22, 2008, in expiry review RR‑2008‑001, continuing its finding made on December 23, 2003, in inquiry NQ‑2003‑001, concerning the dumping of structural tubing known as hollow structural sections made of carbon and alloy steel, welded, in sizes up to and including 16.0 inches (406.4 mm) in outside diameter for round products and up to and including 48.0 inches (1,219.2 mm) in periphery for rectangular and square products, commonly but not exclusively made to ASTM A500, ASTM A513, CSA G.40.21-87-50W and comparable specifications, originating in or exported from the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Türkiye. Canada has launched an investigation into anti-dumping duties and countervailing duties on cast iron soil pipes (HS: 7303.00.00.10, 7303.00.00.90) made in China.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) initiated investigations on July 11, 2025, under the Special Import Measures Act, respecting the alleged injurious dumping and subsidizing of cast iron soil pipe originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China. The investigations follow a complaint filed by Canada Pipe Company ULC, d/b/a Bibby-Ste-Croix. The subject goods are usually imported under the following tariff classification numbers: 7303.00.00.10 and 7303.00.00.90. These tariff classification numbers may include non-subject goods, and subject goods may also fall under additional tariff classification numbers. Source: Government of Canada

The EU has launched an investigation into the extension of anti-dumping tariffs on solar glass from China 

The product subject to this review is solar glass consisting of tempered soda-lime-flat-glass, with an iron content of less than 300 ppm, a solar transmittance of more than 88 % (measured according to AM1,5 300–2 500 nm), a resistance to heat up to 250 °C (measured according to EN 12150), a resistance to thermal shocks of Δ 150 K (measured according to EN 12150) and having a mechanical strength of 90 N/mm 2 or more (measured according to EN 1288-3) (‘the product under review’), currently falling under CN code ex 7007 19 80 (TARIC codes 7007 19 80 12, 7007 19 80 18, 7007 19 80 80 and 7007 19 80 85). The CN and TARIC codes are given for information only without prejudice to a subsequent change in the tariff classification. The solar glass subject to anti-dumping duty includes all glass fulfilling the abovementioned technical and physical characteristics, whether it is used for photovoltaic modules, flat photothermal energy collectors, furniture, to build greenhouses, or for other uses. The EU has made a final decision on anti-dumping tariffs on multilayered wood flooring from China. 

EU has imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty and definitively collecting the provisional duty imposed on imports of multilayered wood flooring (CN: 4418 75 00) originating in the People’s Republic of China. Source: European Commission

The EU has launched an investigation into the extension of countervailing duties on Chinese solar glass

The EU has made a final decision regarding anti-dumping tariffs on Chinese-made lysine 

EU imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty and definitively collecting the provisional duty imposed on imports of lysine originating in the People’s Republic of China.(CN: 2309 90 31, 2309 90 96, 2922 41 00) (TARIC Code: 2309 90 31 51, 2309 90 31 59, 2309 90 31 61, 2309 90 31 69, 2309 90 96 51, 2309 90 96 59, 2309 90 96 61, 2309 90 96 69). The EU has decided to impose provisional anti-dumping tariffs on fused alumina from China 

The product under investigation is artificial corundum, whether or not chemically defined, also known as fused alumina (‘the product under investigation’). The types of artificial corundum are also known as white fused alumina (‘WFA’), pink fused alumina, ruby fused alumina, brown fused alumina (‘BFA’), sol-gel, etc. They are all included, regardless of their commercial naming, provided they meet the properties or specifications set out in the relevant TARIC codes descriptions.  The product concerned is the product under investigation originating in the PRC, currently falling under CN code 2818 10 11, 2818 10 19, ex 2818 10 91, and 2818 10 99 (TARIC codes 2818 10 91 20, 2818 10 91 90) (‘the product concerned’). The EU has launched an investigation into the anti-dumping duties on malleable tube fittings made in China and whether the sale of products assembled and completed in the EU using imported Chinese parts constitutes circumvention (TARIC Code: 7307 19 10 35, 7307 19 10 45).

The product concerned by the possible circumvention is threaded tube or pipe cast fittings, of malleable cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron, excluding bodies of compression fittings using ISO DIN 13 metric thread; malleable iron threaded circular junction boxes without having a lid; ductile iron clamp tees with rubber sealing and an outlet hole; ductile iron grooved end caps for use on grooved steel pipe with a threaded outlet; ductile iron grooved reducers with threaded end; ductile iron grooved reducing tees with a threaded outlet; and ductile iron blanking saddles without threaded outlets used to seal a hole in a tube or pipe, classified on the date of entry into force of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1259 ( 2 ) under CN code ex 7307 19 10 (TARIC code 7307 19 10 10 and 7307 19 10 20) and originating in the People’s Republic of China and Thailand (‘the product concerned’). South Africa anti-dumping Tariff amendment 

The tariffs amendments notice, scheduled for publication in the Government Gazette, relates to the imposition of –

  • provisional payment in the form of anti-dumping on imports of fully automatic top load machines, of a dry linen capacity exceeding 10 kg but less than 17 kg, classifiable under tariff subheading 8450.20.20 originating in or imported from the Peoples Republic of China and Thailand (ITAC Report 752).

The United States has made final decisions regarding anti-dumping duties and countervailing duties on vanillin from China (HTS: 2912.41.00, 2912.42.00).

On the basis of the record developed in the subject investigations, the United States International Trade Commission (“Commission”) determines, pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”), that an industry in the United States is materially injured by reason of imports of vanillin from China, provided for in subheadings 2912.41.00 and 2912.42.00 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, that have been found.  By the U.S. Department of Commerce (“Commerce”) to be sold in the United States at less than fair value (“LTFV”), and imports of the subject merchandise from China that have been found to be subsidized by the government of China. United States: anti-dumping duties and countervailing duties on circular welded carbon quality steel pipes produced in China

The United States has decided to impose provisional measures, stating that the import of circular welded carbon quality steel pipes manufactured in Oman using hot-rolled steel produced in China constitutes circumvention. (HTS: 7306.19.10.10, 7306.19.10.50, 7306.19.51.10, 7306.19.51.50, 7306.30.10.00, 7306.30.50.25, 7306.30.50.32, 7306.30.50.40, 7306.30.50.55, 7306.30.50.85, 7306.30.50.90, 7306.50.10.00 etc. Source: US Federal Register

The United States has decided to impose provisional measures regarding anti-dumping tariffs on active anode materials  produced in China

The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determines that active anode material from the People's Republic of China (China) is being, or is likely to be, sold in the United States at less than fair value (LTFV). The product covered by this investigation is active anode material from China. (HTS: 2504.10.1000, 2504.10.5000, 3801.10.5000, 3801.90.0000). Source: US Federal Register

The United States has decided to extend the anti-dumping tariffs on steel threaded rods (HTS: 7318.15.20.95, 7318.15.50.50, 7318.15.50.51, 7318.15.50.56, 7318.15.50.90) made in China.

On the basis of the record developed in the subject five-year review, the United States International Trade Commission (“Commission”) determines, pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”), that revocation of the antidumping duty order on steel threaded rod from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the United States within a reasonably foreseeable time.
