Amsterdam, 8 April 2026 — CATTS, a managed services, consulting and technology company specialised in customs and global trade compliance, today announces it has joined the DKM Group, backed by Belgian private equity firm Tillighem. The transaction was completed on 3 April 2026.

Headquartered in the Netherlands, CATTS supports large multinational companies with managed services, consulting and purpose-built technology in the customs and trade compliance space. With more than 100 professionals, service centres in Brazil, Mexico, Poland and India, and clients in more than 50 countries, CATTS has built a strong international position over the past decade.

By joining the DKM Group, CATTS becomes part of a broader customs and trade compliance platform while continuing to operate as its own company and brand. CATTS’ leadership team — Nick Bulters, Peter Bulters and Magda Wisniewska-Wojciula — will remain in place and is committed to the next phase of growth with the DKM Group, thereby also reinvesting and becoming shareholders at the overarching DKM Group level.

The DKM Group, represents around 100 professionals across Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, Bulgaria and Morocco. Together, the combined group brings more than 200 professionals to the market, combining strong customs brokerage expertise with managed services, consulting and technology capabilities.

A Complementary Combination

The combination brings together two highly complementary parts of the customs and trade compliance market.

The DKM Group has built a strong position in customs brokerage and operational customs support, serving forwarders, SMEs and large corporate customers in the Benelux market and beyond. CATTS adds a distinct and complementary profile, focused on managed services, consulting and technology for large multinational companies with complex global trade compliance needs.

Both teams share a strong passion for technology and customer service and strive to offer the highest quality and expertise.

Together, the group is better positioned to support customers across a broader range of customs and trade compliance requirements — from transactional execution and customs operations to program management, advisory support and technology-enabled control.

A Distinct Role Within The DKM Group

CATTS will continue to operate as a distinct brand within the DKM Group. Its leadership, customer focus and day-to-day operations remain unchanged.

This reflects the complementary nature of the combination. CATTS brings managed services, consulting and technology capabilities for large multinational companies, while the DKM Group adds strong customs brokerage and operational customs expertise.

For customers and partners, the combination creates additional strength through broader market access, complementary expertise, and new opportunities for collaboration across the group.

Leadership Perspective

CATTS is an important addition to the DKM Group. Their capabilities complement the strengths already present in our brokerage business. In addition, gaining access to their IT platform is a significant added value, allowing us to further digitalize, finetune and scale our services across the DKM Group. Together, we can support a broader range of customer needs across the customs and trade compliance landscape.”
 — Luc De Kerf, CEO, DKM Customs

“Over the past 10 years, CATTS has grown into a globally active company supporting multinational clients with managed services, consulting and technology in customs and trade compliance. We are excited about the future of CATTS within the DKM Group and about the opportunities this combination creates for our people, our customers and the broader group.”
 — Nick Bulters, CEO, CATTS

“We believe in building strong groups around complementary companies with clear strategic logic and shared values. CATTS brings international reach, deep expertise and a distinctive service model to the DKM Group, further strengthening the group’s position in customs and trade compliance.”
 — Lieselot Peeters, Partner, Tillighem

“From my early years as a Dutch customs official over 40 years ago, to co-founding CATTS together with my son, it has been a special journey. Joining the DKM Group feels like a natural next step, with shared values, complementary strengths and a common belief in quality, expertise and long-term customer relationships.”
— Peter Bulters, Co-Founder and Chairman, CATTS

Technology And International Reach

An important dimension of the combination is the international and technology-driven profile that CATTS brings to the group.

CATTS has built dedicated technology capabilities to support customs and trade compliance programmes for multinational organisations. Its proprietary platforms include EPOS™, covering areas such as product classification, broker management and pre- and post-transaction analysis, and Compliance.Support, a global expert network and knowledge platform for multinationals.

Combined with the DKM Group’s strong brokerage expertise and digitally oriented approach to customs operations, this creates a broader platform with meaningful capacity to support customers and continue developing practical solutions for an increasingly complex trade environment.

A New Chapter As Catts Marks 10 Years

Founded in June 2016, CATTS celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. What started in the Netherlands has grown into an international organisation supporting clients across all regions through a global delivery model and specialised teams on four continents.

This next step marks a new chapter in that journey: one in which CATTS continues to grow as CATTS, now with the backing of a broader group and new opportunities to create value together.
