Meet the Crew: Dorota Salomonska

CATTS' HR Manager
March 7, 2025

At CATTS, people are at the core of everything we do. With a team spread across the globe, creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and connected is no small task. And behind the scenes, making it all happen, is Dorota, our HR Manager.

With International Women’s Day approaching, we want to shine a light on one of the women influencing the CATTS experience for all of us. From recruitment to employee well-being, Dorota ensures that CATTS remains not just a great place to work, but a company where people can grow, thrive, and feel truly at home.

A Passion for People

Dorota’s journey into HR was driven by one simple reason: she loves working with people. From the early days of her career, she knew that HR was more than just policies and paperwork – it was about creating an environment where employees feel supported and empowered.

At CATTS, she plays a crucial role in coordinating recruitment, managing employee benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. But what truly drives her is the personal side of HR: The conversations, connections, and moments that make a difference in people’s careers.

"Helping employees grow and succeed is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. Seeing people develop their skills and advance in their careers makes all the challenges worth it."

Seven Years and Counting

Dorota joined CATTS nearly seven years ago, and from day one, she knew she had made the right choice. Looking back, she sees it as one of the best decisions of her professional life.

Over the years, she has been instrumental in building a strong HR foundation, ensuring that as CATTS grows, the company stays true to its culture of inclusivity, respect, and teamwork.

Mastering the Art of Organization

One of Dorota’s biggest challenges? Organizing the CATTS Annual Meeting—a massive logistical puzzle that brings together team members from all over the world.

"Making sure everyone arrives on time, all hotels and venues are booked, and everything runs smoothly is stressful, but at the same time, I love it. Seeing it all come together makes me proud."

Beyond the Office

Outside of work, Dorota enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, traveling, and discovering new places. She also has a love for reading and Zumba, which keeps her active and energized.

HR: More Than Just Policies

For Dorota, being an HR professional is about finding balance; between company goals and employee well-being, between structure and flexibility, between challenges and rewards.

"HR is not just about enforcing rules; it's about building trust, fostering open communication, and creating a workplace where people feel valued."

Her advice to anyone starting in HR?

"Take the time to connect with employees, understand their needs, and always stay open to learning. Trust and communication are everything."

And her favorite quote that keeps her motivated?

"The only way to do great work is to love what you do." – Steve Jobs

Strength, Talent, and Dedication in Action

International Women’s Day is a moment to recognize the strength, talent, and impact of the women we work with every day. Their contributions go far beyond job titles – they influence teams, ideas, and the way we grow together.

Dorota’s journey reflects the dedication and leadership that make a real difference in our workplace. Through her work, she helps create an environment where people feel supported, valued, and empowered to succeed. And she’s not alone – so many incredible women contribute to this culture, making CATTS what it is.

We take this opportunity to appreciate their work, their achievements, and the future they continue to build.

Happy International Women’s Day!
