Angola customs tariff update

Angola customs authority has published the updated customs tariff as per the WCO 2022 tariff nomenclature.

Brazil customs tariff update

Brazil customs authority has updated the import tariff. Update includes the changes in the duty rates for certain products classified under tariff chapters 72 and 73.

Colombia customs tariff update

Colombia customs authority has updated the import tariff. Update includes the changes in the duty rates for certain products classified under tariff chapter 27.

European Union customs tariff update

European Union customs authority has updated the import tariff. Update includes the changes in the import duty, preferential duty rates, preferential tariff quota, for certain products classified under tariff chapters 07, 08 and 22.

Japan customs tariff update

Japan customs authority has updated the import tariff. Update includes the changes in the preferential duty rates for various products across the tariff chapters. 

India customs tariff update

India customs authority has updated the import tariff. Update includes the changes in the duty rates for certain products classified under tariff chapters 07 and 10.

Mexico customs tariff update

Mexico customs authority has updated the import tariff. This change impacts more than 500 products where the import duties are increased. The main sectors are steel, aluminum, textiles, clothing, footwear, wood, plastic and its manufacturers, chemical products, paper and cardboard, ceramic products, glass and its manufacturers, electrical equipment, transport equipment, musical instruments, and furniture. These increases in import duties are due to the recent implementation of new commercial models, such as nearshoring, and the government's willingness to protect national production. Impacted products are classified under the tariff chapters 28, 29, 34, 35, 39, 40, 48, 49, 52, 55, 61, 62, 63, 64, 72, 73, 76, 82, 83, 84, 85, 87, 92, 94 and 96.

South Africa customs tariff update

South Africa customs authority has updated the import tariff. Update includes the changes in the preferential duty rates, Environmental Levy on Electric Filament Lamps, Environmental Levy on Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Emissions of Motor Vehicles, Environmental Levy on Carbon Emissions and Fuel levy.

United Kingdom: Update to Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS) measures

This update is due to the Department for Business and Trade correcting their dataset entry in respect of duty rates applied to Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS) measures. The duty rate applied to 142 – Tariff Preference, DCTS Standard Preferences measures have been updated on the certain HTS codes of tariff chapters 04, 20, 21, 28, 39, 50, 57, 63 and 72.

United Kingdom: Update to Waste Control Document Code C672 Description

This update is due to the Department for Business and Trade correcting their dataset entry in respect of document code description for C672. This document code applies to import and export controls of waste. New description reads as: Information document for export of non-hazardous waste or imports of non-hazardous waste. See Article 18 and Annex VII of Regulation (EC) No 1013/2006 as retained in UK law. This update is due to the Department for Business and Trade correcting their dataset entry in respect of UK tariff suspensions. 103 - Third country duty suspension rate measures have been updated on the certain HTS codes of tariff chapters 11, 22, 27, 39 and 94.

United Kingdom: Update to Commodity Code Structure to maintain dynamic alignment with the EU

The commodity codes have been created as of 1 May 2024: 0409000010 and 0409000090.
